Copywrite notice: all pictures are free for looking at and enjoying but if you are using them for making money I want some too! Just send me an email & I might have something better since nowhere near all my photos are posted on the web site.
"copywrite 2003 Paul Furman, www.edgehill.net"

Camera: A not too fancy digital Olympus C3030 without extra lenses. The resolution is 2048x1536 (3.3megapixel). It cost $800 a few years ago. I take a lot of pictures and sort through them later. For the closeups I normally use a fixed focal length then move the camera in & out till it's focused. For simplicity I almost always either use 8 inches or 2-1/2 feet. Beyond 2-1/2 feet it's out of macro mode and autofocus usually works fine. Some of the really close details on the web are already cropped to 640x480 so they can't be printed very big, uncropped views can be printed as big as 11x15 inches.
