Chiricahua National Monument, Arizona

Wonderland of Rocks
October 26, 2004

This is in Southeast of Tuscon. It is similar to Bryce Canyon in Utah but there are trees between the rocks and less color in the volcanic rock this is formed from. The weather was cloudy so I boosted up the color saturation a bit to compensate for the flat lighting but the lichens really are that intense of a chartreause green. These are just a few of the 330 pictures I took. The tree trunks are Arizona Cypress.
